Another year has come and gone. The festive season is nearly upon us, and we’ll be saying goodbye to 2018 very soon. There’s been a lot of exciting changes at Boss Training this year, and we’re looking forward to seeing what 2019 will bring – we’re confident it will be an even more successful twelve months.

One of the major changes that happened this year was our big move. We first moved into offices in Halifax in 2008 and finally outgrew them this year, so you can now find us in Brighouse. This was a pretty important moment for us – we started training in 2003 and formed Boss Training in 2005, while working from home, in an office in the back of a garage. What a difference to where we are today!

Our brand new offices are more spacious than the ones in Halifax, offer plenty of parking, have a comfortable delegate rest area, new practical training equipment, state-of-the-art classrooms and a training facility.

We’ve provided many training courses to professionals throughout 2018, such as the Royal Shakespeare Company, which was a fantastic opportunity for us. The fact that we work with a variety of industries and businesses is one of the things that we love most about the job – and why we can’t wait to see what the New Year will offer.

If you head over to our blog page, you’ll also see that we chose to focus heavily on IPAF training this year; this is because this type of training is key to many workplaces across the nation. They promote the safe and effective implementation of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms and help people to identify and eliminate risks in their work environment.

A lot happened this year. Carillion collapsed at the beginning of 2018, and we’re still speculating over Brexit as December comes to an end – at the time of writing, it’s impossible to say for sure how our exit from the European Union will impact the Health and Safety industry.

2018 was a momentous year, and we believe that 2019 will offer new challenges and opportunities, which we’re very excited about. We’re also incredibly thankful to our amazing team of professionals who have worked hard to deliver the best training courses possible.

And, of course, we want to give a big thank you to our customers, without whom we wouldn’t have had the successful twelve months we had. Your continuous support allows us to grow and develop our services, so we can offer increasingly better training to businesses across the country.
