Video Conference Training Courses
It’s important that your business continues to train employees, even when external circumstances make it extremely difficult to do so. That’s why the team here at Boss Training are offering several video conference training courses with our qualified trainers, that will operate in exactly the same way as our actual onsite training courses.
As our team are completely committed to the governments calls for social distancing, We will offer a number of live courses with our fully qualified trainers via an online video conference call.
During the course, our trainers will take all delegates through the course content as if you were in one of our physical classrooms, meaning that you are able to ask questions throughout the course.

The video conference training can be taken on a PC, Laptop or Mobile Device (i.e. smartphone/ tablet) providing they meet the following requirements.
You will need:
- A good internet connection (broadband wired or wireless)
- Speakers and a microphone (built-in or USB plug-in or wireless Bluetooth)
- A webcam or Camera functionality (built-in or USB plug-in
Additional System Requirements for Mobile Devices are:
- iOS 7.0 or later
- To be able to send and receive video using front or rear camera
- iPhone 4 or later, iPad Pro, iPad Mini, iPad 2 or later, iPod touch 4th Generation, iPhone 3GS (no front facing camera)

Boss Training’s video conference courses are no different to being in one of our classrooms, as you will have constant access to our expert training staff, so you are free to chat and ask questions about the course material throughout the conference call. You can also rest assured that you will receive exactly the same level of knowledge and expertise that can be expected from our onsite training courses.
At the end of each of our courses, there will be a multiple-choice exam that each delegate will need to pass in order to receive an instant certification. Our team of experts will be with you every step of the way on each of the courses, helping you to attain your certification by the end of the session.

- FOUNDATION HEALTH & SAFETY COURSE
It’s essential that all of your employees are completely aware of their responsibilities when it comes to reducing the risk of injuring themselves, or others, within the workplace. That’s why Boss Training offer a Foundation Health & Safety video conference training, as our primary goal is to keep all of your employees as safe as possible.
In the virtual classroom, our fully qualified health and safety experts will take all delegates through the core fundamentals when it comes to health and safety within the workplace. The course will cover everything from an introduction to health and safety and the laws surrounding it right through to fire safety and manual handling. This course is a must for any new starters or any employees who have not carried out health and safety training recently.
Upon completion of this half day video conference training course, you will be awarded a certificate to show your competence in heath and safety.
- MANUAL HANDLING
It’s no secret that back problems are one of the most common injuries suffered within the workplace, and our virtual training course will help your employees to reduce the risk of suffering this type of injury in the workplace.
Your very own qualified training expert will be on hand to give insight into how your employees can make assessments on whether an object is suitable for lifting and the best techniques to use when lifting.
Upon competition of this half day video conference course, you will receive a certificate which will be valid for 5 years.
- SAFE WORK AT HEIGHT
There’s no denying that the Work at Height Regulations (2005) are extremely important for employers, as falls from height account for more deaths than any other single issue every year.
In order for your staff to be completely competent when it comes to working safely at height, we would strongly recommend that your employees carry out our video conference training course. Covering all of the training you’d expect from an onsite course, our virtual classroom will contain a number of delegates and our very own fully qualified training expert who will be on hand to guide you through all of the course material, answering any of your questions along the way.
Upon completion of the half day video conference training course, you will be awarded a certification that is valid for 5 years.
- CITB HEALTH & SAFETY AWARENESS (SITE SAFETY PLUS)
Delegates will benefit from CITB Health & Safety Awareness Training if they are not familiar with H&S regulations and require a nationally recognised certificate. If your employees are already working within the construction or civil engineering industry, the CITB Site Safety Plus course is ideal for your business.
Highlighting the potential hazards your employees can expect to see when working on a site, and how each delegate should deal with them, this course is perfect for new and more experienced members of the team. Our fully accredited CITB instructors will take the time to ensure all delegates understand how to prevent accidents in the workplace, and the laws surrounding health and safety, among other key aspects of working safely within a construction setting.
This video conference training course takes 1 day to complete and at the end of the session you will receive a certificate which is valid for 5 years.
- UKATA ASBESTOS AWARENESS
This course is a necessity for any employees whose work has the potential to expose them to asbestos containing materials.
Covering everything from the potential dangers of asbestos to the procedure’s employees must follow when working with the material, this course is a must for those who come into contact with asbestos on a regular basis. During the video conference, you will have ample time to quiz the instructor on any aspect of the course you require further guidance on.
Upon completion of this half day video conference training course, you will be awarded a UKATA Asbestos Awareness Training certification that is valid for 1 year.
- UKATA NON LICENSED REFRESHER
If you have already completed the UKATA Asbestos Non Licensed Asbestos Removal course and are coming up to the end of your certifications date, then you are required to take part in a refresher course.
This course will be led by one of our experts on the video conference call, who will update your existing skills and knowledge when it comes to handling and disposing of asbestos containing materials, so it’s essential that you take the time to complete this to continue working with asbestos in the future.
Upon completion of the course your UKATA Non Licensed certification will be extended by a further year.
- UKATA DUTY TO MANAGE
If you have any employees who are required to oversee employees who are working with asbestos containing materials, you are required to take the UKATA Duty to Manage training course. This particular course is primarily aimed at managers, owners’ supervisors and other duty holders within the workplace.
This course was originally brought in as an extension to the Asbestos Awareness Course, and provides delegates with a more in-depth knowledge of what is expected in the daily management of a team of employees in asbestos containing sites. Throughout the course, you will have plenty of opportunities to discuss any areas of the course content with your instructor in the virtual classroom.
Upon completion of this 1-day video conference course you will be awarded with a UKATA Duty to Manage certification which will be valid for 1 year.
